Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using linkd.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the linkd mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").

linkd is currently operated by an individual developer based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India ("linkd", "we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account, accessing, or using linkd, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Service.

Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms and explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information.

1. About linkd

linkd is a dating and social connection platform intended to help adults discover other adults, express interest, match, communicate, and potentially develop romantic or personal relationships.

linkd provides the platform and tools for users to interact with one another. We do not guarantee that you will find a match, relationship, date, friendship, or any particular outcome through the Service.

You understand that the people you interact with through linkd are other users of the platform and not representatives, employees, agents, or partners of linkd.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to use linkd.

By creating an account or using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

You are at least 18 years old.
You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
You will provide truthful and accurate information.
You will not misrepresent your age or identity.
You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

linkd is intended exclusively for adults. Minors are not permitted to create accounts or use the Service.

If you believe that a person under 18 is using linkd, please report the account to us immediately at linkd.contact@gmail.com.

3. Creating an Account

To use linkd, you must create an account and provide information requested by the application.

Depending on the features you use, this may include information such as:

Name
Email address
Date of birth
Gender
Sexual orientation
Dating preferences
Profile photographs
Responses to profile prompts
Other information you choose to include in your profile

You agree that the information you provide will be accurate, current, and not misleading.

You are responsible for activity conducted through your account and for keeping your account credentials secure.

You must not create an account using another person's identity or information without permission.

4. Email Verification

linkd may require you to verify your email address before accessing certain features.

Email verification is intended to help maintain the security and integrity of the platform. Email verification does not mean that linkd has independently verified your identity, age, photographs, occupation, relationship status, or any other information.

5. Your Profile

You may create a dating profile containing information and photographs that you choose to share with other users.

You are responsible for ensuring that information in your profile is truthful and does not violate these Terms.

You must not:

Pretend to be another person.
Use another person's photographs as your own.
Create a fake or deceptive profile.
Misrepresent your age.
Misrepresent your relationship status in a deceptive or fraudulent manner.
Use photographs or information that you do not have the right to use.
Deliberately provide materially false or misleading information intended to deceive other users.

linkd may remove or restrict profiles that violate these Terms or create safety concerns.

6. User-Generated Content

linkd allows users to create and upload content, including photographs, profile information, prompt responses, and messages ("User Content").

You remain responsible for the User Content you submit to linkd.

You represent and warrant that:

You own the User Content or have all necessary rights and permissions to use and upload it.
You have permission from any other person appearing in content you upload where such permission is legally required.
Your User Content does not violate any applicable law or the rights of another person.
Your User Content does not violate these Terms.

Public Profile Content

Profile photographs and other profile information you choose to publish may be visible to other linkd users.

You should therefore avoid including sensitive personal information in publicly visible areas of your profile.

7. License to User Content

You retain ownership of the photographs, text, and other content that you create and upload to linkd.

By uploading User Content to the Service, you grant linkd a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, and otherwise process that content as reasonably necessary to:

Operate and provide the Service;
Display your profile to other users;
Facilitate matching and communication;
Provide features requested by you;
Maintain, secure, and improve the Service;
Investigate violations of these Terms; and
Comply with applicable law.

This license is limited to the purposes of operating and providing linkd and does not transfer ownership of your User Content to linkd.

After you delete your account, your User Content will generally be removed from the Service in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements, subject to limited retention that may be necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or other legitimate purposes.

8. Matching and Communication

linkd allows users to interact through features such as:

Like
Pass
Match
Block
Report
Messaging

You may communicate privately with another user after a match.

Photos may be shared through messaging only where the relevant feature permits it.

You understand that messages and other communications may be viewed by the recipient and may be reported to linkd.

You are responsible for what you communicate to other users.

Deleted Accounts and Messages

If you delete your linkd account, your profile and associated account information will be removed in accordance with our deletion procedures.

Messages associated with your account will also be deleted from the Service, subject to any limited retention that may be required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or other legitimate purposes.

Please remember that deleting your account does not necessarily mean that another person has no independent copy, screenshot, or record of information you previously shared with them.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use linkd for unlawful, abusive, deceptive, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.

You must not:

A. Impersonation and Fraud

Create fake profiles.
Impersonate another person.
Use another person's photographs or identity without authorization.
Misrepresent your age or identity.
Engage in scams, fraud, phishing, or deceptive schemes.
Attempt to obtain money, financial information, passwords, verification codes, or other sensitive information from another user through deception.

B. Harassment and Abuse

Harass, intimidate, threaten, stalk, or repeatedly contact another user after they have indicated that they do not want further contact.
Make credible threats of violence or harm.
Engage in bullying or abusive behavior.
Encourage another person to harm themselves or others.
Target another person with hateful or discriminatory abuse.

C. Sexual Exploitation and Abuse

You must not use linkd to:

Sexually exploit or abuse another person.
Share intimate images of another person without their consent.
Threaten to release intimate images.
Engage in sexual exploitation, trafficking, or coercion.
Groom, exploit, or endanger a child.
Create, upload, request, distribute, or facilitate child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Attempt to use linkd to establish sexual contact with a minor.

Any sexual exploitation or abuse of children is strictly prohibited.

D. Illegal Activities

You must not use linkd to facilitate or promote illegal activities, including fraud, trafficking, exploitation, or other unlawful conduct.

E. Spam and Commercial Solicitation

Unless expressly permitted by linkd, you must not:

Spam users.
Send mass unsolicited messages.
Promote products or services through your profile or messages.
Use linkd primarily for advertising or commercial solicitation.
Direct users to fraudulent or malicious websites.

F. Privacy Violations

You must not:

Publish another person's private or confidential information without authorization.
Attempt to obtain another user's account credentials.
Collect or scrape user information without authorization.
Use information obtained through linkd to harass, stalk, threaten, or exploit another person.

G. Platform Abuse

You must not:

Attempt to bypass security or access controls.
Interfere with the operation of linkd.
Introduce malware, viruses, or malicious code.
Reverse engineer or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
Scrape, copy, harvest, or systematically collect information from the platform without our authorization.
Use automated systems or bots to interact with the Service unless expressly authorized by us.

10. Reporting and Blocking

linkd provides users with tools to report and block other users.

You should use these features if you encounter behavior or content that violates these Terms or creates a safety concern.

Reports may be reviewed and may result in actions including:

Removal of content;
Warnings;
Restrictions on an account;
Suspension;
Permanent account termination; or
Referral to appropriate authorities where required or appropriate.

We may also take action based on information obtained through other legitimate means.

Reports should be made honestly and in good faith. Repeatedly submitting knowingly false or malicious reports may itself violate these Terms.

11. Content Moderation

linkd is a user-generated-content platform. We may review, moderate, restrict, or remove User Content and accounts where we reasonably believe they violate these Terms, applicable law, or platform safety requirements.

We may use manual review and, where appropriate, automated tools or systems to help detect violations, fraud, abuse, or safety risks.

We do not guarantee that every violation will be detected or prevented.

The existence of moderation does not mean that linkd reviews every profile, message, photograph, or interaction before it becomes available to users.

12. Child Safety

linkd is an adults-only dating platform and does not permit minors to use the Service.

We strictly prohibit Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), including grooming, sexual exploitation, trafficking of children, sextortion of children, and other conduct that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children.

We also strictly prohibit the creation, upload, possession, sharing, solicitation, or distribution of CSAM through linkd.

If we become aware of suspected child sexual exploitation or CSAM, we may remove the relevant material, restrict or terminate accounts, preserve relevant information where legally appropriate, and make reports to relevant authorities or organizations as required by applicable law.

13. Real-World Safety

linkd is designed to help adults connect with people they may not previously know.

You acknowledge that interactions arranged through linkd may involve people whose identities, intentions, background, or personal information have not been independently verified by us.

Use caution when interacting with people you meet through linkd.

If you choose to meet another user in person, you should consider appropriate safety measures, including:

Meeting in a public place;
Telling a trusted person where you are going;
Arranging your own transportation;
Avoiding sharing unnecessary personal or financial information;
Remaining alert to suspicious behavior;
Leaving if you feel uncomfortable or unsafe.

linkd does not conduct comprehensive background checks or guarantee the identity, character, intentions, safety, or behavior of any user.

You are responsible for your own decisions and interactions with other users.

14. No Guarantee Regarding Users

linkd does not represent or warrant that:

A user's profile information is accurate;
A user is who they claim to be;
A user is legally eligible to engage in a particular relationship;
A user's intentions are genuine;
A user is safe;
A user has not violated the law;
A user will behave appropriately;
You will receive matches;
You will receive messages;
You will meet a compatible person; or
Your use of linkd will result in a relationship, date, friendship, or other personal outcome.

You are responsible for evaluating information provided by other users and deciding whether and how to interact with them.

15. Intellectual Property

The linkd application, including its software, branding, logos, design, graphics, interface, original text, functionality, and other materials provided by linkd, are owned by or licensed to the developer and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not:

Copy or reproduce the Service;
Modify or create derivative works from the Service;
Distribute or commercially exploit the Service;
Attempt to extract source code;
Use linkd branding without permission; or
Use the Service or its content in a way that infringes intellectual-property rights.

These restrictions do not transfer ownership of User Content to linkd.

16. Copyright Complaints

If you believe that content available through linkd infringes your copyright or other intellectual-property rights, you may contact us at:

18. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your account if:

You violate these Terms;
You violate our safety or community standards;
You engage in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful conduct;
You create a safety risk for other users;
We reasonably believe your account is fake or deceptive;
You provide materially false information;
You engage in illegal activity;
You engage in CSAE or other serious prohibited conduct; or
We are required to do so by law or a competent authority.

Where appropriate, we may take immediate action without prior notice, particularly where there is a serious safety, security, legal, or child-protection concern.

You may stop using linkd at any time.

19. Deleting Your Account

You may delete your linkd account through the account-deletion functionality made available in the application.

Upon account deletion, we will delete or remove your account and associated personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Certain information may need to be retained for a limited period where required or permitted by law, for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, enforcement of these Terms, or other legitimate purposes.

20. Service Availability

We will make reasonable efforts to keep linkd available, but we do not guarantee that the Service will always be:

Available;
Uninterrupted;
Secure;
Error-free;
Free from bugs or defects; or
Compatible with every device or operating system.

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, linkd is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, completeness, availability, security, or suitability of information or content provided through the Service.

We do not guarantee that the Service will meet your expectations or that your use of the Service will produce any particular result.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, linkd and its developer shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

This includes, where legally permitted, losses arising from:

Your interactions with other users;
Your reliance on information provided by another user;
Meetings or relationships arranged through linkd;
User-generated content;
Unauthorized conduct by another user;
Account suspension or termination;
Service interruptions; or
Loss of data.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

23. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless linkd and its developer from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising out of:

Your violation of these Terms;
Your unlawful use of the Service;
Your User Content;
Your violation of another person's rights; or
Your interactions or conduct toward other users.

This provision applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

24. Changes to the Service

linkd may introduce, modify, or remove features from the Service from time to time.

If we introduce features that involve materially different data practices, payments, advertising, or other significant changes, we may update our Privacy Policy and/or these Terms as appropriate before or when those practices begin.

The current version of these Terms will be made available to users through the Service or another publicly accessible location.

Your continued use of linkd after the updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If you do not agree to updated Terms, you should stop using the Service and delete your account.

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India, except to the extent that applicable law requires otherwise.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts having appropriate jurisdiction in India, with the specific venue determined in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising any mandatory consumer or statutory rights that cannot legally be waived.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified or interpreted to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, where legally permitted.

The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

28. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies or guidelines expressly incorporated into these Terms, constitute the agreement between you and linkd concerning your use of the Service.

They supersede prior agreements or understandings concerning the same subject matter, except where otherwise required by law.

If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean we waive our right to enforce that provision in the future.
